Etymology:
Gr. a-: “not, without” + Gr. graphḗ: “drawing, painting, writing, a writing, description, etc.” + Gr. aísthēsis: “sensation”
Definition:
The inability or difficulty recognizing a written number or letter traced/sensed on the skin (e.g. of the hand), usually as a consequence of parietal damage.
