Baker's cyst
Etymology:
This is an eponym. It is named after an individual.
Definition:
Named after the surgeon, William Morrant Baker, who first described it, a Baker's cyst is a collection of synovial fluid in the popliteal region of the posterior knee. Perhaps a more intuitive name for this would be popliteal synovial cyst.
