Epistaxis
Etymology:
Gr. epí: “above, over, on, upon, besides” + stázō: “to drip" (from the nostrils) = Gr. epístaxis: “nosebleed”
Definition:
A nose bleed where blood "drips upon" anything below or in contact with the nostrils.
