L. flavus: "yellow, golden", in reference to the symptom of jaundice caused by the illness induced by the Flavivirus genus
Definition:
An acute febrile illness of tropical regions, caused by a flavivirus (Yellow fever virus) and spread by certain mosquitoes, characterised by high fever, jaundice, and black vomit
